We gathered some additional information on Summer Camps...see details below. There are however, some things that cannot be decided just yet so we encourage you to come to the Summer Camp Meeting on Feb. 14 after 8am and 10am Mass.
Some camps have limited spots available...don't delay and sign-up today!
Follow the steps below to secure your spot for CHWC, Camp Tek & Totus Tuus

- Make Deposit per camp/student by Wednesday March 17
- Checks payable to Holy Family - in note section, annotate the camp(s) attending
- Turn in payment at Parish/Faith Formation Office or at the Summer Camp meeting
- Financial assistance available for deposits

June 20 - 26 | Students entering grades 9-12 in fall 2021

What your child will experience at CHWC:
Daily Mass, witness talks, repairing and renewing homes, prayer, small group discussion, games, skits, live music, AND a free day to explore Nashville!
Logistical & Deposit Details:
- $50 Deposit Due by Wednesday, March 17
- AND sell a min. of $50 in "Take Stock" by Tue, June 1
- Turn in payment at Parish/Faith Formation Office or at the Summer Camp meeting
- Transportation - TBD and discussed at camp meeting (decision largely depends on how many youth sign-up)
- Depart Holy Family - Saturday, June 19, time TBD
- Arrive at Nashville CHWC site Sunday, June 20 by 12:00pm
- Depart Nashville CHWC site Saturday, June 26 by 9:00am
- Arrive at Holy Family - Saturday, June 26 time TBD
CHWC Covid Planning:
All campers and staff members will be urged to get tested and vaccinated before coming to camp. We are extremely interested in requiring some type of testing method to ensure participants arrive healthy. Because testing methods and recommendations from the CDC will likely change between now and summer, we anticipate having more clarity on this in the coming months.
Groups will stay together with those they traveled with to the worksites, during programs, in their rooms, in small groups, and during meals.

Camp Tek's Mission Statement:
"An outdoor ministry of the Diocese of Green Bay, established to help young people encounter Jesus Christ through prayer, community and self-discovery amidst the beauty of God's natural creation."

- Transportation is not provided - Parents are responsible for transportation to and from Camp Tek

Lil Tek
Ages 6-11 | June 20 - 22
They have the option to stay until the June 25.
Lil Tek campers enjoy all the activities of a full-week camper but stay only two nights.
Full-Week Campers
Ages 6-15 | June 20 - 25
Mass, archery, canoeing, outdoor education, games, songs, and campfires are just a few of the exciting activities this group will experience during the day, while the evenings may include a hike under the stars, a cabin cook-out, a kayak trip to Osprey Island, or various other traditional camp activities.
Leader Quest
Ages 15-17 | July 25 - July 30
Leader Quest is designed to provide teens the opportunity for growth in personal and team leadership through unique camp experiences and offsite activities. The skills developed will make campers more capable leaders.
Explorers
Ages 16-18 | July 18 - July 23
Explorers is for campers who seek adventure in the wilderness. The campers are given opportunities to learn basic survival skills, grow in leadership, team building, and conflict resolution. The small group will spend six days in the wilderness without distraction from the outside world, living with only basic necessities, and practicing good camping habits like leave-no-trace.
A small group of eligible campers will travel to the Sylvania wilderness where they will meet a trained professional from the Ottawa Forest Service, who will give an overview of Sylvania and provide a survival crash course. Then, campers will put their knowledge to the test with a two-day backpacking trip, complete with back-country camping. The last full day is dedicated to giving back to the Sylvania Wilderness by volunteering for the Forest Service.
The goal of this program is to help campers develop their character, learn the value of nature, grow stronger in faith, and gain confidence in leadership.

What your child will experience:
Totus Tuus is a weeklong “parish mission” for Catholic youth in grades 1-12. It is dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic faith through evangelization, catechesis, Christian witness, and Eucharistic worship.
Logistical & Deposit Details:
- Deposit & Registration Due by Friday, April 30
- Turn in payment at Parish/Faith Formation Office or at the Summer Camp meeting

- Parents arrange transportation for child(ren) to and from Holy Family
- Grade 1-6 $25.00 / child
- Grade 7-12 $15 / youth
- Fee is waived if youth in grades 7-12 help out with day program
- Family Rate for 3+ children = $70.00
